Exciting News: The High Street Water Treatment Plant officially opened in April 2023.  

This project has been ten years in the making.  The new plant has allowed us to better filter iron and manganese on the East side of town.  Water from the plant is running clear.  The goal now is to flush water mains to remove all remaining sediment and debris.  Annual flushing enhances the overall water quality.  Low water levels and prior year drought conditions has made this a challenge and has caused us to postpone flushing.  Preserving water is imperative for fire safety reasons.
