Water Ban in Effect
A reminder to residents: Bridgewater is currently under a water ban. During this time, please conserve water. All outdoor watering is prohibited.
Why is the ban in place
At this time, the Town’s water tanks need sufficient time to be resupplied by water from the Town’s wellfields. To help stabilize the water system, residents are asked to comply with the restrictions below while the water ban remains in effect.
What you must do
Outdoor water use
- Do not use outdoor sprinkler systems
- Do not fill or refill pools with Town water
- Do not water flower beds
- Do not water vegetable gardens
Indoor conservation
- Consider taking shorter showers
- Delay non-essential laundry loads
Enforcement & fines
Water Supply Department personnel will periodically patrol to enforce this restriction. Any person who violates this by-law shall be liable to the Town in the amount of $50 for the first violation and $100 for each subsequent violation.
BlueDrop water kiosk temporarily unavailable
The BlueDrop PFAS-free water kiosk located at the Bridgewater Highway Department, 151 High Street, is currently out of service due to equipment issues. The Town is working with the vendor to restore service as soon as possible. Updates will be posted when the kiosk is back in operation.
