Consulting Services for the 5-Year Community Preservation Plan Update

The Town is soliciting qualifications from firms/individuals interested in providing consulting services to complete a 5-year update of the Bridgewater Community Preservation Plan. The Town envisions a robust community engagement process for developing the updated plan. 

Requests for proposals may be obtained no earlier than January 31st from the Town of Bridgewater by emailing a request to Procurement@BridgewaterMA.org. The deadline for submission is Thursday, February 22, 2024 at noon to be delivered to the Town Manager’s Office, 66 Central Square, Bridgewater, MA   02324.

This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B, section 6, and all contracts must be strictly awarded in accordance with the requirements of MGL Ch. 30B and this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). If it becomes necessary to revise any part of this RFQ or otherwise provide additional information, an addendum will be issued to all prospective proposers who received copies of the original request.

The successful firm/individual will assist in preparing an update to the Community Preservation Plan that complies with the requirements under MGL Chapter 44B referred to as the Community Preservation Act, and specifically Subsection 5 (b)(1), in consultation with the Community Preservation Committee.
