Parks & Recreation
The Parks & Recreation Department works with the Parks & Recreation Commission, schools, youth organizations, sports leagues, and community groups to support recreational opportunities and maintain public recreation spaces throughout Bridgewater.
Department Goals
- Coordinate recreational activities with schools, youth groups, sports leagues, and other community organizations.
- Maintain and improve ball fields, playgrounds, parks, and other recreational areas.
- Provide safe and accessible facility use for Bridgewater residents and community groups.
- Expand recreational opportunities to serve a variety of interests and age groups.
- Support both active and passive recreation opportunities throughout the town.
