Special Event Requests
Residents, organizations, and event sponsors interested in holding a special event on Town property must submit a request for review. Requests are reviewed by the appropriate Town departments to help ensure public safety, proper facility use, and compliance with local requirements.
Before You Apply
Special events may only be scheduled in areas deemed suitable by the Town. Depending on the nature of the event, requests may be reviewed by representatives from departments such as Fire, Police, Health, Building, Community Development, Parks & Recreation, or other applicable offices.
Some requests may require follow-up meetings, additional documentation, proof of experience, or a security deposit.
Request Requirements
- Submit a formal letter of request from the event sponsor.
- Describe the proposed event, activities, program, date, time, location, and expected attendance.
- Include any setup needs, equipment, vendors, food service, amplified sound, parking needs, or public safety considerations.
- Attend any required follow-up meetings with Town staff, if requested.
- Provide additional documentation, insurance, permits, or deposits if required by the Town.
