Town Manager

Justin Casanova-Davis joined the Town of Bridgewater as Town Manager on July 1st, 2025. He brought with him a distinguished track record in municipal finance and community-driven leadership. Known for his collaborative spirit and passion for municipal government and public service, Justin is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all Bridgewater residents.

Professional Background

Before joining Bridgewater, Justin served as the Town Administrator for Norfolk, MA, where he was part of a team that successfully oversaw the completion of a new fire station under budget, secured over $3 million in grants and/or earmarks, implemented a community electricity aggregation program, and the passage of zoning changes to lead to the commercial development of the 111 Dedham St./Southwood Hospital site. His prior experience also includes serving as the Assistant Town Administrator and Finance Director for the Town of Brookline, as well as budgetary roles for the City of Cambridge and the Massachusetts House Ways and Means Committee.

Education & Credentials

Justin has a Master’s in Public Administration and a Graduate Certificate in Local Government, Leadership, and Management from Suffolk University. He received his undergraduate degree from Boston College.

Justin is an International City Management Association (ICMA) Credentialed Manager.

Justin was selected following a comprehensive national search for his ability to tackle complex challenges, from financial sustainability to downtown economic development. He is eager to partner with the Town Council and the community to embrace new opportunities that make Bridgewater an even better place to call home.
