DOG LICENSE LATE FEES BEGIN MARCH 1ST

2026 Dog licenses are now available for sale at the Town Clerk’s Office

Dog owners in Bridgewater are reminded that the Dog Licenses are valid from January 1^st through December 31^st

A dog licensing form to register dogs was sent to all residents with the Annual Town Census.

Dog License costs are:

Male/Female: $20.00

Neutered Male/Spayed Female: $15.00

Late Fee (Begins March 1st): $10.00

Dogs not registered by Feb. 28th will be charged a fine of $10.00 in addition to the cost of the license as required by the Canine Control Ordinance.

Licenses may be purchased in person at the Town Clerk’s Office, located in the Academy Building, 66 Central Sq. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Licenses also may be purchased by returning fee with the Town Census or mailing a request, the proper fee, self-addressed stamped envelope or add extra $1 for postage to Town Clerk’s Office, 66 Central Square, Bridgewater, MA 02324.

Additionally, licenses may be paid online through the Town’s Website: www.bridgewaterma.org by clicking on “Make a Payment” to access the ONLINE PAYMENT CENTER.

*Current Rabies Certificate must be on file before Dog License will be issued.
