Construction progressed steadily this week on the Green Sands Filter and PFAS treatment areas as part of the ongoing treatment improvements for Wells 10A & 10B. Crews completed subgrade preparation and began forming the filter pad, placing rebar and pouring concrete for key sections. Work also advanced on the PFAS pad with the installation of NFS crushed stone. Midweek efforts focused on removing asphalt and excavating to expose critical water lines, followed by the installation of new taps to support system connections. By the end of the week, installation of the water line to the PFAS pad area was underway. The photos below highlight these milestones and ongoing construction activity.
